AbstractOne of the characterizing features of
modern poetry is the abundance of
allusions that can ramify poetic discourse.
Igzaar Hantoosh was fully conscious of
the importance of allusions. He used this
technique both directly and indirectly.
Doing so, he created open poems that
were novel and different from the
traditional rendering intertextuality a
lively and highly creative. Hantoosh
dealt with his texts in a transparent spirit.
