AbstractThe present paper deals with the "The Everyday and Commonplace as Sourcs of Poeticity in Gizar Hantoush's Complete Works " . It sheds light on the way he employs everyday experiences and themes taking them out of their familiar mediocre contexts and endowing them with a new poetic flavour . Prosaic , Colloquial Language is also employwd in the form of citations and quotations. Folkloric material and popular songs furnished Hantoush with vital source of allusion and endless potential for poetizity . This strategy gave this man a unque poetic voice among his contemporarie , on the level of language , sonnd , and imagery .
